Travelling abroad exposes you to a number of diseases which are far less common or non existent in the UK. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office currently advise that you seek specialist medical advice at least six weeks before you intend to travel to check what medication or other preventative measures you may need to help keep you safe overseas.
Many diseases are vaccine preventable and Sussex Travel Clinic offers travel vaccinations to protect you from diseases such as Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid to name a few. Some travel vaccines such as Rabies, Hepatitis B, Tick Encephalitis and Japanese Encephalitis require more than one dose before you travel, so make sure you book early to ensure you are fully protected before your trip.
Please select from the vaccination drop-down above to find out about the disease, the vaccine schedule and the cost of vaccinations.
